“Hi, my name is Krispy. I bet I know what you are thinking? I don’t know why I am named that and my people never explained it. My foster mom says it is because I am the color of a glazed donut! My foster mom sure loves her sweets? I am from Yuma and I am about 8 years old but I think I look … younger. Not to brag, but I am a little girl (about 7 lbs). I am learning the dog door but I am still an itty bitty nervous to push the flap. When my foster mom lifts the flap I will go through! I do also let her know when I need to potty because I don’t want to have any accidents. When Cherished Tails rescued me from Yuma, my teeth were really bad. It hurt to eat and sometimes I would scream even just laying my head down. Ouch!! I am feeling better every day and I can eat soft food mixed with kibble because my mouth is still healing. I get scared easily when I am touched in a way I am unsure of. So it is way better than before though. I am still afraid when people invade my personal space. So you will need to get to know me and win my trust by going slow. Don’t just fling a washcloth at my face, right foster mom? I like to play bow and let you pretend to run after me and then I spin around a run toward you! I wag my tail so much. My foster mom said my entire behind wiggles from my waist to my bottom. Now that I am happier and healthier it is all getting better every day. I hope you will consider me. Remember to ask for Krispy!”
