Karen

Karen is an 8-month-old Great Pyrenees with 60 beautiful pounds. Karen is vaccinated, hw tested, spayed, and micro-chipped. She had the ouch-y dangling dew claws, so the doc removed those at her spay. Karen is a Velcro dog. She will absolutely worship whomever adopts her. I could command her to … stand on her head, and she would try her hardest to do so. Leash training is going swimmingly. We take long walks together, and she loves when I say… COME ON, KAREN in a silly voice. Karen gets along with dogs and cats. She tries to climb in every human’s lap. Karen would do well as an only dog, too. She would enjoy all the attention. She does well in the house and likes a good cold floor to nap. It’s time to find the same love for Karen in which she gives. COME ON, Karen! Let’s find it! (Karen was roaming in Auburntown for months. The breeding and buying of Great Pyrenees, then the abandonment when the farming/livestock/hobbyfarm interest is over, is something I have been involved in consistently over the years. Being told they are just “working dogs” ain’t working for me. The pain I see with this breed in rescue is substantial.
