She couldn’t believe her eyes that the person who was meant to protect me and shower me with love would hurt me that way. I’m so relieved to have been rescued from all that abuse. I am a very loyal, educated, grateful and affectionate companion and I love nothing more than being by my person’s side. I am a very well-behaved dog at home. I am content to lay by your side or at your feet while you relax or work. I am also very well-trained and always aim to please. Watch out for the food because I’m the greatest magician in the world and I can make food disappear in an instant. Food is gone! Let’s see – what else can I tell you about what a good girl I am? I’m smart, so I quickly learned “siéntate,” and “Dame la pata”. These are Spanish commands, because my mom is Latina and prefers talking to me in her native language, so I’m bilingual by the way. I walk perfectly on a leash, take treats gently, and am fine with baths. I’m also crate-trained. Although I’m content in my foster home, I know what’s best for me is to have a forever home of my own where I can get all the love that I deserve without competing with as many other animals for my human’s attention. I’m undemanding and would do fine in a home with no other pets; I’m quiet and reserved.
