JENNA

Jenna is a six-year-old beagle/bully mix that may be medium in size but larger than life with love to give! Her life has been far from easy as she spent the first half of her life living in a crate and being permitted to play with the other smaller dogs in the house every so often. Jenna was then … abandoned at her boarding facility where she has won over the hearts of the staff that have taken care of her! As a result, poor Jenna does need time to trust her humans because she had no choice but to believe that humans were bad! Her initial reaction to meeting a new human is to put her guard up and will bark and maybe even growl because she is tired of being let down by people over and over! She thinks by acting like this she will “scare you away” when all she really wants is to lay on your lap when you’re on the couch and be the best cuddle bug around! Jenna is housebroken and loves to go on walks. She is funny and goofy and absolutely loves watching TV, especially when animals are on! She would do best in an adult only home, preferably with dog experienced adopters! Jenna should do fine with other dogs, but she cannot be trusted with cats!
