Cute! Cuddly! Oreo color coat! Calm inside and playful outside, Jaethorn is the perfect package. However, if you want a dog that sleeps in a crate, this one is not for you. He loves cuddling and is his happiest curled up next to his people. He does crate during the day when needed with no incidents … or accidents, and he’s working hard on potty training with the help of his slightly older foster brother. Only a couple of accidents in almost a week! To avoid confusion, we skipped puppy pads and went straight to bell training, and he recently rang the bell then be let outside! Speaking of foster brothers, he loves them. He’d do great with a sibling who has the energy to play with him. He does get along with his grandpa-aged foster sibling and is respectful of boundaries. Great with kids, Jaethorn is still out on cats (our indoor one learned to avoid him). He has the typical puppy energy and will need a home that can be patient and consistent, while continuing to work on his potty training and basic obedience to help him become the best adult dog he can be. He is the sweetest most submissive boy ever! He is so sweet and kept seeking me out for attention. He would sit at my feet and just want to be petted! Jaethorn is still very young and has an adventurous heart that would be happiest with an active family. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
