Izzy was born in 1/2022 and weighs about 60lbs. Izzy is a young Redbone coonhound who just turned 2 years old this past December. Original owners got her from irresponsible breeder. She has all the characteristics of a Redbone, but doesn’t meet all the looks. Regardless, she is a very sweet dog and … now in need of a new home. Izzy is both house and crate trained, good with dogs of all sizes. But if they give her a bunch of crap, she won’t sit back and take it. She will chase cats for fun and try to get them to play. She doesn’t mean to hurt them but will bounce around and step on them, so no cats is best. Izzy is a bundle of energy and is not fit for the apartment life or an inactive person. She needs someone who can get her regular exercise and has plenty of space for her to run and get her zoomies out. No resource guarding issues. She loves her people and will throw herself into you for attention. She will plow over young kids and lick them to death, so older kids (10+) are preferred. Izzy knows how to sit and takes treats nicely. She is curious about everything and always down for an adventure. Her adoption fee is $175. That covers worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a two-week trial in which you can borrow items. You must fill out an application before we do any meet and greets. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview. We respond to inquiries and adoption applications at our earliest opportunity, but please be patient with us as we work full-time jobs and perform this service as volunteers. We do our best to return messages and schedule adoption interviews within a couple of days of receiving your application.
