Isley

Nine-year-old Isley deserves a family where she can be the only dog in the house. She is incredible with people including kids of all ages from babies to toddlers to teens. She thrives under the attention of her humans. She can go from lounging around to running buddy mode to hiking friend and … right back to couch potato. Whatever it is, as long as she is with her person or people. She has never had an issue with other dogs in doggy daycare or dog parks, however she is not interested in sharing her safe space (home) with any other doggo or cat friends. She is crate trained and knows her basic commands. Her favorite treat is Velveeta cheese slices. She is the best snuggler and just wants a person or family to enjoy to the fullest. She has lived with goats, chickens, ducks and geese and generally doesn’t care much about them. Does well with other dogs in doggy daycare settings, but just not in a home as she resource guards her person. Isley has never shown aggression to a person or a child and she has two boys she has been with since they were born, they are 4 and 6 now. She adores children. Prefers male dogs to female dogs in smaller settings. She has dabbled in agility and if her off leash skills can be honed she could be phenomenal at that. She loves to go for runs and will ignore other dogs with the appropriate instruction while running. She knows how to run on the treadmill, but she also loves to just hang out with her people.
