Hazel

About Hazel

Here comes happy Hazel, a recent surrender to the rescue. Hazel is in search of a family with experience in handling large breeds or shepherds who can help her build confidence through positive reinforcement. The rescue is specifically looking for a foster family with the intention to adopt Hazel. She is a nervous dog who would greatly benefit from the presence of another dog in the home. When meeting new people, Hazel displays fearful behaviors. However, once she establishes trust, she blossoms into a friendly, loving, and puppy-like companion. Hazel walks nicely on a leash and enjoys playing with toys in the yard. Surprisingly, she can transform into a lap dog once she feels secure with you. Originally found as a stray in Philadelphia back in November, Hazel has come a long way and now seeks a forever home where she can continue to grow and thrive. For more information about this precious dog, please don’t hesitate to contact the rescue.
