About Hank the Tank

“Attention! Forward march! Hank the Tank reporting for duty! I am a fearless four-legged soldier, bred for loyalty, courage, and unwavering determination. At 68 pounds, I am a two-year-old Rottweiler mix. With a powerful bark and a heart of gold, I am the ultimate defender of love and pawsitively…ready to conquer any obstacle that comes my way. Now that I am no longer in the field, I am working on my house manners. You see, much of my life has been spent on the battlefield, honing my skills as a soldier. Being indoors is new territory for me. Even though I appear to have a tough exterior, I am really like a marshmallow inside. I am ready to go where you go! I get along with humans and fur friends alike and I have a knack for sensing when someone needs a furry shoulder to lean on. My other squad members can always count on me thru thick and thin. My ideal home would either have a fenced in yard so that I can patrol the perimeter for intruders, or have a dog area in an apartment complex. Of course, I will need to get plenty of exercise daily in order to keep my mind and body sharp! So, if you’re seeking a companion who embodies the spirit of honor, duty, and the unbreakable bond of camaraderie, then look no further! My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!” We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out. Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home.
