“Hi there, I’m Halo, and I’ve got a lifetime of experience at 15 years old. I’m a female Terrier Mix, and my journey began when a kind-hearted rescuer found me living on the streets of South LA. Now, I’m looking for a warm and loving home to spend my golden years. I’ve got lots of stories to share … and plenty of love to give. Let’s make the most of our time together! Come by and meet me and all my other friends at The Lovejoy and see if we have a connection.” We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30-mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
