Say Hello to Gretchen! Gretchen is a precious little terrier mix. She is approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 16 pounds. She was rescued from a home where she lived in a pretty stressful environment with about 70 other small dogs. Gretchen is settling in here at the rescue and is getting … used to being handled more than she was in her previous home. She loves attention, she just needs a patient family that will show her lots of love. Gretchen is happy to receive attention and affection, although it is still new to her. She has a little warming up period to build up confidence and trust and ideally a home without small children would be her best match. She has been doing well here and we know that in a loving home she will continue to thrive. Gretchen is crate trained for her meals and for sleeping. She gets along with the dogs in her group, but would also be content to be the only dog in the home. We just love this sweet, gentle girl and can’t wait for her to find her forever family! Gretchen is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, micro-chipped and her adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas testing, heartworm and tick testing (age appropriate), all age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, spay/neuter surgery and microchip.
