He would do well as a solo dog or with one with a similar energy level. Goose is making great strides on his leash skills. He loves to explore and his tail wags a million miles a minute each time his leash comes out! Traffic doesn’t bother him but he’s still a puller. Given his size, Goose would do best with a strong handler who can help him learn to stop and smell the roses while on walks. While he is generally very gentle, even with children, and loves giving kisses, Goose has lots of playful puppy energy and sometimes doesn’t know his own size. He’s been known to mouth people when he’s excited. It’s recommended that he go to a home with experience with large/strong breeds. Goose would thrive with supports that help him channel his energy and improve his obedience, so it’s important that his future family is willing to attend training to set him up for success so he can be the best dog he can be.
