GLORIA

About GLORIA

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue. #A5556879 Gloria is a gentle 12-year-old deep chocolate with white female Pit Bull who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on May 28. Weighing 83 lbs Gloria is a sweet girl who deserves to spend her golden years indoors with a cozy bed. She has some masses, may be deaf, and seems to have some vision impairment, so she doesn’t really hear commands but she’s cooperative once she understands what her handler wants from her. On leash Gloria is easy to handle and she has a low energy level. The shelter is requiring that any other dogs in the home also be calm, and Gloria must be adopted with a health waiver and recommendation to see an outside veterinarian for a full diagnosis and treatment plan.
