“Hello, my name is Gary. Glad you stopped by to get to know me a little better so let’s get right to it! My foster describes me as absolutely wonderful dog to have around. Why is that? Well, I’m super-duper cuddly, I’m very well mannered, I don’t bark when I’m the house, and I’m a BIG couch potato. … I also don’t destroy my toys or other things around the home which means I can be left out and about no worry but if you prefer to kennel me, I do great in a crate as well. I’m also fully potty trained and walk like an absolute gem on the leash. Next let’s talk about my friends. Starting off we have other dogs. Other dogs don’t bother me, but I prefer to be around dogs that aren’t very playful or are down to just chill. I have been in playgroups and on walks with other dogs, but I really prefer the chase squirrels, lizards and my favorite RED ball. Next are humans. I love all shapes and sizes and am super gentle with everyone I meet. I absolutely hanging with my human so I would love a spot right next to you on the couch or bed while watching some tv. Speaking of beds, I love them but sometimes I need a little boost getting into one. I love kids and take treats very gently from them. I’m very tolerant of them and love getting pets and playing with them. I make instant friends with everyone I meet and am great when guests come over. I love all people but specifically men are my favorite I guess it’s just because we have that guy bond. I would make an amazing companion for a young active couple, or even an older couple! Now that you know about all my friends let’s talk about some other things I love. My number one favorite thing is food. I’m super-duper treat motivated which makes training an absolute breeze! I love food so much that I even will take my medication like it’s a treat. Sometimes when you’re preparing my meal, I’ll get so excited that I start to shake and spin in circles. It’s quite funny to see. Even though I love food I’ve been taught not to dumpster dive or counter surf but I’m an avid beggar and will sit at your feet while eating. Next, I love toys and the outdoors! I have enough energy to go on hikes but definitely don’t mind a good lazy afternoon in the house with my favorite toy.
