About Frannie

Frannie is a 5-year-old Coonhound/Dalmation mix who’s looking for her special forever home. Frannie will require a very patient and loving person to take care of her in her new home. Frannie has suffered some unfortunate trauma in her life that has resulted in strict requirements in her next home, including: No men* No children under the age of 16* No cats *A completely fenced backyard with easy access to and from the yard *Preferably no apartments or rentals. This is includes neighbors, roommates, frequent visitors such as family members, friends, etc. Unfortunately, due to Frannie’s previous trauma, she does have a bite history with men. For this reason, we are specifically looking for a female-only home with no men or children. We are more than happy to discuss her bite history further with any prospective adopters. Frannie will do best in a low traffic home with a woman (or two!) where she can completely be herself. She likes to do a lot of things on her own terms. She enjoys taking long naps and sunbathing outside when the weather permits. Frannie will thrive with a consistent schedule and does best with a familiar routine. She has never lived with other dogs before but has done well in our daycare play groups in the past. Adoption Process: 1. Contact the Albany Pet Hotel and request an Adoption Questionnaire. 2. If your Adoption Questionnaire is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet at our facility in Albany. 3. A trial period of no less than two weeks is required for all prospective adopters to ensure all parties involved are satisfied prior to adoption. We will bring Frannie and all of her things to you so we can see where she will be staying. 4. If all goes well, Frannie will officially become yours once all adoption paperwork is signed!
