Ford Channelview

This cutie is Ford. He is currently 38 pounds and 4 months old and will be a big boy! We think he may be a German Shepherd Dog Mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the most desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is … from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Ford is playful, sweet, cuddly, and very loving. He loves to play with his foster siblings and take lots of naps on the couch. With such a sweet disposition, he is ready to please all his humans! After spending his first months on the streets you would think he would be scared of it all, but boy is he defying the odds! Ford is treat motivated and ready to learn! He is good with corrections and will do best with a family who has GSD experience! Ford is potty-trained and crate trained, he loves to go outside and wrestle and play in the yard. Ford is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend!
