Ferdinand is still in search of his forever home!!! This boy needs another laid back dog to play with and a large yard. He adores other animals, he is good with the cats but we are very on top of him about no chasing and respecting their space which can be hard to do if someone isn’t constantly … correcting a puppy. He will need someone to continue training with him since this age is very crucial to shaping a dog, he is by no means a bad dog. He’s very sweet/smart but he will be a large boy so it’s important to stick to proper training/ exercise/socializing. He is crate trained, potty trained (taken out every 2 hours and does fine overnight without really any accidents), knows basic commands, working on recall, and walks very nice on a leash. Energy level I would say isn’t terribly high for being a puppy he’s really good at sitting with you on the couch and playing with a toy or napping. He’s not overly busy like a lot of puppies. Overall we think a house/fenced in yard, someone who’s home a lot and does a lot with their dogs would fit him best and also a person who will train him and stay on top of it too. He’s probably be the best puppy I’ve fostered and I hope we can find the most suitable home for him. Location: Tampa. Age: 15 weeks. He will be neutered, age-appropriate vaccines, micro-chipped and sent with a dose of revolution. He’s been de-wormed already and had a wellness check when rescued at 8 weeks. He is in teething stage we do not allow him to put mouth of anything but his chew toys which he’s done great with. Walks he loves and enjoys, he likes to go places too and we hope someone can continue to properly socialize him and give him enrichment he needs/deserves. If interested please fill an app out.
