Fancy

Fancy has had a pretty rough first year and a half of her life. She’s been through 4 different owners before she arrived to WARM. She was surrendered for killing 2 chickens, so she is clearly prey driven which is normal for terrier breeds. Unfortunately, she wasn’t receiving enough exercise and … attention and that of course will lead to boredom and make a young/active dog act out in ways they normally wouldn’t. Before her previous owner, she was living 24/7 in a garage with no outside time. Despite all of this Fancy (pants) as we like to call her is an absolute love to people! She was never socialized, so we are working on that with dogs and slowly letting her get used to having other dogs around. We do not know how she is with cats yet, our guess is not well. She is good with kids, but she is jumpy and very playful so we think it best she be in a home with older kids. Every volunteer has immediately fallen in love once they meet Fancy. She’s adorable, sweet and loves to give kisses. She rides great in the car, did amazing at the vet, is going through crate training and learning how to walk on a leash.
