Eleanor

Eleanor is a lovely 5-year-old female Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who was brought to the HSOV on January 4, 2023 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden and the HSOV Humane Officer along with two of her companions (Angel and Skippy) who had shared her home. Eleanor, Angel and Skippy were surrendered … by their owner to the HSOV a week or so later so that we could find each of them another home. This beautiful girl has a black/gray/tan short smooth coat in a blue merle pattern, a small patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with pale blue eyes and short floppy ears. Eleanor was a pleasure to photograph when HSOV Kennel Manager Rachal Merrow spent time with Eleanor and assisted her with glamour photos on January 16, 2023. Eleanor was very well-behaved and a perfect lady as she posed like a ‘Dog Fancy Magazine’ model that day. Eleanor weighs 57.6 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash. She will be spayed before being adopted by her new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).
