Dude

This rambunctious young pup is looking for his forever home! Dude has a very bubbly, loving and energetic personality. He is great with other dogs, particularly those that match his playfulness! He has done fantastic with all staff and meeting new people since joining rescue. He is fixed and up to … date on shots. He was surrendered to us when his owners decided he may not be the right fit to have in a house with their upcoming baby as he’s “possessive over food”. Dude would greatly benefit from a foster that can confirm these behaviors and work past them. For the record, staff at boarding have not seen any signs of food guarding behavior from him – even sitting near him as he ate with no signs of discomfort or annoyance from Dude. We’re hopeful this is an easily fixable behavior he can be properly guided out of! Home check and fee will be required.
