Daphne, a beautiful and affectionate girl, is currently located in Texas but can travel to you through Shipping any week and be with you by Saturday. She is exceptionally well-behaved and has a friendly nature towards both people and other dogs. Daphne effortlessly forms instant friendships with … unfamiliar dogs when moved from one pen to another. Her loving and gentle disposition makes her a favorite among everyone she meets. While she may be a country girl who hasn’t had much experience with leashes, she walks fairly well on one and is eager to please, always trying her best to do what is asked of her. Training Daphne should be a breeze, as she is motivated by treats and genuinely wants to do the right thing. Daphne came into the care of her current guardians through a vet’s office. She was picked up as a stray on a rural road and brought to the vet, who initially believed she must belong to someone due to her stunning appearance. After searching for her owner for a couple of weeks without success, they requested assistance from the current caretakers, who gladly took her in. While she may need a little time to adjust to a new environment, Daphne appears to be house trained and keeps her kennel immaculate, always using the dog door to go to a designated area in her yard. It’s important to provide supervision and guidance to any dog in a new home regarding where to go and which door to use, but Daphne is expected to adapt to the new routine quickly. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and has tested negative for heartworm. She is also on preventive medication for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
