Dakota is a sweet little Labrador mix came to the rescue with his siblings and is now looking for his forever home. For Pet’s Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. Mississippi is overpopulated too many animals, not enough homes, and many high kill shelters. For Pet’s Sake Rescue saves each … animal from a different background. Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA/Breed test. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. For Pet’s Sake Rescue transports animals to other states with better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, micro-chipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted. Please email [email protected] and put the pets name in the subject area. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is “on hold” for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to you during a scheduled transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call. We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME, MA and RI residents. If you found our adoptable animals, we have other animals available in your area. Any of our adoptable animals can be transported unless otherwise noted in their profile. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
