Daisy

Say hello to Daisy. Daisy was a 2-year old stray on the island of St. Maarten. Timid and shy, she is adjusting to her new life in foster care where she cohabitates with 3 cats. She had tested positive for heartworm which she has been treated for, and she is now ready to find her forever home. As we … have gotten to know Daisy while in foster care, she is slowly overcoming her fears of all of the noises and people in the city. She does like other dogs and we feel she would do best in a home with another gentle dog to help with her confidence. Her wish list would include a quieter home without young children. She is not aggressive at all, but she does get frightened by sudden movements and loud noises. Daisy will require a monthly topical medication for heartworm, flea and ticks for the next few months and a follow up blood test, all of which will be covered by the rescue. She will also be spayed by the rescue. Come and meet this adorable dog.
