Copper

About Copper

Copper arrived with his brother, Jeff, and were in absolutely terrible condition with non-contagious demodectic mange. The two of them were starved and terrified of everything. Fast forward three months, and Copper now looks like this! He has fully recovered and is finally ready to find a forever home. Copper is believed to be around ten months old, and we think he is some sort of hound mix. He is very friendly and loves to be around people. He is excellent with other dogs of different sizes but has not been tested around cats. Copper would do best in a home with an active family who will take the time to work with him on basic obedience. He is a very quick learner, and training him should not be an issue, but patience and dedication are needed. As of right now, he is crate and housebroken. Requirements: – Must have a fenced yard. – No cats. Copper is vaccinated, dewormed, chipped, spayed/neutered, and hw neg. All dogs are located in TX and will only be transported once adopted. Transportation is included in the adoption fee. PIYHR makes no guarantees on breed – most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. The breeds listed are a guess based on features and characteristics. We cannot guarantee the size or breed of any dog without a DNA test. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
