This handsome boy Cookies has been struggling from a young age. His foster family could tell pretty early on that something was different about him from the rest of his litter. Many tests with our partnered vet were preformed to narrow down a diagnosis, but eventually we had to move our search to … the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mizzou. Cookies endured more tests until the vets could finally come up with a diagnosis… Hypomyelination, a condition that affects the central nervous system. Thankfully, the vets gave him a good prognosis to live a healthy life, he’ll just always be a little different. Cookies is officially ready to find his furever home! He will need a family who can handle his condition, as he is still growing and may have episodes where he physically needs help. He loves dogs, cats, kids… this boy is a total lover. He is almost 6 months old, has been neutered, up to date on shots, chipped… he is ready to go!
