Captain Kirk

Home Dog Adoption Captain Kirk

About Captain Kirk

Captain Kirk was picked up by animal control in a neighboring small town. He wasn’t reclaimed by his owner, so he’s looking for his forever home. Captain Kirk appears to be around 6 months old and is currently about 40 pounds. He will likely be a 50+ pound dog as an adult. No, he doesn’t know his name…he just happened to join us while we were on a theme for names. If you don’t like the name, you can definitely change it! This sweetheart has done great with other dogs and is highly outgoing and playful. He’s learning to walk on a leash and is learning quickly. He’s a typical puppy who will go through all the normal puppy phases. He’s looking for a home that is ready for all the fun and training that comes with adopting a puppy! Captain Kirk hasn’t been around cats since he’s been with us, so we won’t be adopting him into a home that has cats. He currently lives with another male and has no issues with sharing anything. This guy isn’t in a foster home, so all housetraining etc will be up to the adopter. We don’t know any of his history, so we don’t know if he’s lived indoors or not. Captain Kirk’s adoption fee is $600 which includes his neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, bordatella), registered microchip, negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, and transport costs. He is available through Paw Pals of Hale Center, a partner rescue of Project Freedom Ride. We are located in the Texas Panhandle. He is located here in Texas with our rescue. He would be transported on one of the PFR transports to either Meridian ID, SLC, UT, Seattle, WA, Mt Vernon, WA, Kennewick, WA, Portland, OR, Buffalo/Syracuse/Newburgh/Castleton on Hudson, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, Springfield or Chicago, IL, Halethorpe, MD, Lansing, MI, Madison, WI, Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Indianapolis, IN, Springfield/Richmond, VA or Bedminster, NJ. For more information on how a Direct Adoption with Project Freedom Ride works or to meet this guy via video call, email [email protected]. As a Paw Pals of Hale Center direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call. The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport. Check out Project Freedom Ride and see what this amazing group is all about! Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
