Candy is a great leash walker which makes her perfect to take in public or on strolls in the neighborhood. She is not reactive to … other dogs or strangers. Candy was previously an owned dog and lived with multiple other dogs but unfortunately her owner fell on hard times and could not properly care for her anymore. Candy has been around cats on leash and was not interested in them. She went nose to nose with a small gray kitty that didn’t run or move and turned around to leave. She seems cat friendly but has not lived with cats so she will still need a period of adjustment. Everyone who meets her says how sweet she is and we think she will make an awesome addition to any home. Come and take her home. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
