Say hello to Cain. Cain and Able are what we guess to be Dachshund mix brothers approximately 1-2 years of age. They do not need to be adopted together but could be if the right family came along who wanted a duo. These brothers have nearly the same markings, but Cain is scruffy and Able is smooth! … Cain has “puppy dog eyes” mastered. He is shyer than his brother, but very much wants to be with people and get all the pets and love. Sometimes he can be a little nervous when getting picked up, but once you have him he wants to snuggle. Cain is kennel trained and house trained. He loves toys and wrestling with his brother. He walks nicely on a leash to go potty, but needs continued practice walking longer distances…he likes to plop in the grass so that you will carry him! Cain has played nicely with friendly dogs around his size or smaller. He is 13lbs, and often gets scared around big dogs. His perfect forever family would not have dogs who are a lot bigger than him.
