Here is Cadbury, a 3-year-old long-haired Chihuahua weighing approximately 11 pounds. This handsome boy is as sweet as can be, but he does have special needs. Before coming to the rescue, Cadbury experienced a traumatic incident where all his legs were crushed, and unfortunately, he didn’t receive … proper care, resulting in deformities during the healing process. Despite this, Cadbury can still walk and get around, although his mobility is limited and he isn’t very fast. What he lacks in speed, he more than makes up for in his love for cuddles and being carried around. Medically speaking, there is nothing more that can be done for him, and he will likely develop arthritis as he ages. His new home will need to provide him with supplements to manage this condition. Cadbury is a wonderful boy who deserves a life filled with love and care, far better than what he has experienced so far. We are hopeful that he will find his forever home where he can thrive. He gets along well with other dogs of similar size and has captured the hearts of all the people who care for him. Although he is likely good with kids, we prefer him to be placed in a home without young children. Cadbury would also do well with cats.
