Buddy will be your most loyal protector! “Hi! My name is Buddy, and I am ready to be your Buddy! I bond very strongly with my person and will be very loyal and protective. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences that make it take a little longer for me to truly warm up to new people, but once I know … that I can trust you, I’ll quickly start asking for pets and be your forever loyal protector. Who likes when strangers touch their head without their permission anyway?! I’m a great mix of smart and food motivated (I love catching little treats!), which means I’m a prime candidate for training. I’ve even learned a few tricks already, like ‘find it’! I also have a lot of energy. Playing and running are some of my favorite things, but I’ll never run too far away from you, because you will always be my most favorite! I think that one day I’ll be a great leash walker – I love walking and I’m happy to be on a leash or harness – but I’m still polishing up my leash manners a bit. I’ve heard treats are a fantastic motivator! Here’s a fun fact about me: I get a little bit of road rage. I love riding in the car, but if we’re sitting in traffic, I’ll start barking at the cars around me. Now you know that doggy road rage is a thing! Loud noises don’t bother me, so I think I’m just in a rush to get wherever we’re going.
