BRUCE

Here comes Bruce, who is a big, strong, high energy boy, turning 3 years old, and weighing about 70 pounds. Bruce is the best, sweetest, and goofiest guy around! He always keep you laughing. He is definitely a country pup and loves the country dog life!! This boy lives for adventures, truck rides, … rolling in the grass, as well as mice hunting, chasing snakes in the tall grass, harassing turtles, de-stuffing toys, and eating everything on or off his plate! Mr. Bruce also enjoys naps on the couch, the AC (and heat when it’s cold), tugging with his people and horse play. He loves kids, but can also knock them down with his wiggle butt (when he’s excited). Bruce is toy and food motivated (making him a quick learner)! He is potty trained, crate trained and also knows several commands. Bruce is a great boy, and has an unfortunate history. In his short life, Bruce has been abandoned, rehomed, and disregarded. He was unwanted, unloved and treated like a yard ornament. He was never made to be part of a family. Bruce has been with his foster for well over a year, and the foster has poured her entire heart & soul into him, giving him the privilege of doggy play dates and additional training so he can love life and succeed. Unfortunately, due to Bruce’s intimidating looks, he has not had any significant interest. And now things are drastically changing for his foster family, and it’s now or never that he finds a home of his own.
