“Hi! My name is Brownie. I know, I know… I didn’t name myself. Whatever originality is missing from my name I sure do make up in looks and personality! Listen, I’m no heartthrob, but I will love you as much as Justin Timberlake loved his hair in the early 2000’s. I’ve had a really long stay in a … kennel. I was found as a stray and no one came to claim me so I lived at a police department for a while and now I am in boarding. Even though boarding is way fancier than what I am used to, I really don’t want to stay here anymore. Now I’m searching for my furever home. So, I have no idea what my mom and dad were. When I look in the mirror, I know that I’m special because I’m kinda fluffy around my neck and I have curly ears and a curly tongue. I’d like to say that I’m a refined dog-lion-gargoyle mix with a smile that will light up a room. Literally, I know I have a smile that will melt your heart and maybe your mom’s too. I know how to sit, stay and I love to play fetch. When I am over the whole ‘fetch’ thing, I find a spot to hide my ball or toy and lay on top of it for safe keeping like a chicken. Hey, maybe I’m also part bird? Wouldn’t that be awesome… I could fly myself straight into a home with active people and a big backyard. Maybe I can sucker them into spoiling me like some of the families I hear stories about from the dogs in my boarding facility.
