Besos SP

About Besos SP

Beso means kisses in Spanish and he is full of them. This handsome boy is very loving and willing to give hugs and kisses! We found Besos alone and cold on a rainy Thursday, hiding behind our van. He loves everyone he meets, dogs his size, age and energy level to play with. Tiny dogs may be unnerved by his exuberance and energy. He does not like big boys, unless they are gentle, as they are a little scary. Cats are a no! He loves exploring and running after squirrels and birds in the backyard so he has a prey drive. Beso wants and needs a secure yard with a six ft. fence as he has no problem climbing those 4 foot chain link fences. Also he is an enthusiastic chaser of ‘wheels’, motorcycles, bicycles so needs to be kept safely leashed on the walkies that he loves so much! He enjoys car rides, daily walks, and loves to explore in a safely fenced yard. He would be a great companion for someone who would take him to stores, restaurants, and include him in their daily lives. He is very well behaved on outings and was a rock star when participating in the King William Parade during Fiesta. His favorite toys are his humans, of course, but also squishies and chewies. If he can get his people to play with him and his squishies and chewies that’s a bonus in his opinion! He is a busy boy with a loving heart and would love an active family or person who has time to share their lives with him. Older kids would be a plus (8 years or older as his enthusiasm may unnerve younger kiddos). He is active but adjusts his energy level to what his person is doing. When people are active in the home, he is active; when watching TV or working on the computer, he snuggles next to his person. He is well behaved, potty trained (never had an accident in the house), sleeps, eats and stays in crate when I’m not home but wouldn’t do well in a crate all day as he is young and has a lot of energy. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX). Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area – $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added). Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
