Home Dog Adoption Baxter (Cleveland Duo)

About Baxter (Cleveland Duo)

Baxter is 12 weeks old and weighs about 16 pounds. He was rescued from Texas (currently located with foster in Texas; transport will be scheduled once adopted). This dog is currently in Texas. Our rescue includes transportation to adopters and fosters throughout the Northeast. Adoption fee: $ 550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information). He is up to date on vaccines, & micro-chipped. Adopter must be 25 or older. When you meet Baxter he will truly touch your soul, well at least he did me. Baxter is a sweet mellow boy that adores attention. He’s a sensitive boy that will sit at your feet to be pet or picked up. He is an A+ snuggle bug so if you are not looking for a pup to snuggle with on the sofa this is not your guy. Smaller than his sister Bree, it is not sure if he will be a large or medium sized as a adult. Baxter loves running and playing with the other puppies with at his fosters but enjoys his independence as well. Baxter is quiet and reserved and eager to please. We just love this boy and there’s a lucky family out there that’s perfect for him, is it your family? IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. All adoption fees are non-refundable. If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing. We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy’s/dog’s physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog’s exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog’s medical records. SNARR’S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did not receive your application.
