This adorable guy and his 2 siblings (Andy and Bea) were found in a city park and taken to the local shelter when they were 4 months old. They all survived parvo, went to a foster, and 4 months later are still looking for a forever home. They’ve had no interest from adopters! Barney is about 8 … months old and about 60 pounds. He will likely be a 70+ pound dog when he’s full grown. Barney is a very sweet boy and is doing well on a leash. He enjoys his evening walks with his foster! He’s smart and wants to please! He can be a bit reserved at first when meeting new people, but he warms up very quickly. He loves to be around people and dogs. He’s not been around cats. This sweet boy could be a mix of many breeds, including the possibility of hound, shepherd, etc. Barney is going to be a great addition for someone with another dog–he really does well with others! He would be a great dog for hiking, walks, etc. once he settles into his forever home. Barney’s adoption fee is $450 which includes his neuter, current vaccinations, registered microchip, and transport costs. He is available through Project Freedom Ride. He would be transported on one of the PFR transports to either Meridian ID, SLC, UT, Seattle, WA, Mt Vernon, WA, Kennewick, WA, Portland, OR, Newburgh/Albany/Syracuse, NY or Bedminster, NJ. The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
