Sweet boy Atticus is looking and feeling so much better and is ready for his forever home! Atticus is guessed to be around 5 years old. I know he looks closer to 10, he’s had a rough life and it shows. He wasn’t abused, but definitely neglected a bit since he has special needs that weren’t being … met/were unknown previously. It turns out he has pretty significant food allergies and requires allergy medication and special prescription food. When he was first brought into PPAWS 3 years ago his previous owner disclosed that he was allergic to chicken. He seems to have developed additional food allergies since. A food allergy test was done this year that showed a significant amount of foods he has an intolerance to. Atticus is the best behaved boy and loves everyone. He’s good with cats and kids. He’s potty trained and will indicate to his foster mom when he needs to go potty. He will need to stay on his allergy meds even with his special food. It runs about $80-90 per month. His food is around $100-115 per 25lb bag. This sweet boy is loved everywhere he goes.
