Anka is 1 year old and weighs about 43 lbs. Anka was a “project dog” for an animal behavior college student who fostered and trained her where she was absolutely thriving and loves to please her people and show how smart she is! Anka is going to make a Dobie lover so happy to have. She is house … trained, crate trained, loves to go for walks, and travels great in the car. Anka also knows the following commands: Sit, Down, Stay, Focus, Loose leash walking, Walk to Heel, and has strong Recall. Anka is great with other dogs and previously lived with cats. She loves people and is very friendly and affectionate. She would love having another large and playful dog in the home to play and socialize with. She would also love having an active family who will take her on walks every day. Anka is young, energetic, and loves to play. She would make a great walking or hiking companion. She also loves to go places with you and enjoys hanging out in dog-friendly areas such as coffee shops, stores and more where she just hangs out, eats her snacks, and simply focuses on you and sometimes meeting new friends. Anka would do best in a home that has a yard to accommodate her daily bouts of zoomies and playtime. After playtime is over, she settles down nicely and loves to cuddle. Anka has Von Willebrand Disease, an inherited bleeding disorder that makes it difficult for blood to clot and most frequently seen in the Doberman Breed. She can and does currently live a happy, healthy, normal life, she just needs to be watched closely to prevent any accidental injuries. This amazing and smart dog has won over all of our hearts and we know she will win over yours too. She’s sweet, friendly, and has a lifetime of love and companionship to offer!
