About Amber
Most days being part of a Rescue just pulls at the heart strings. Amber’s story is no exception! Amber was brought to a Vet to be euthanized, as her family no longer wanted to keep her. The problem is that Amber doesn’t need to be euthanized! She has a very minor thyroid issue which requires a … simple, inexpensive, daily pill. Thanks to the intervention of our SCN volunteers, Amber was spared from that fate! This 7-year-old Pyrenees Mix is pure love! Dog friendly; Kid friendly; Ok on a leash; House-trained; Due to poor nutrition Amber is extremely overweight! She is working on that in her foster home and will continue to need a proper diet and exercise routine. She is a large dog and will require space to move around!
