Willie

This little fella right here will melt your heart, not only with his looks but with all the affection he has to offer. This is Willie, a 5lb, 3-year-old Dachshund mix. He’s just an itty bitty puppy. Willie is not able to see or hear very well but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life. We believe … he can see some light and shadows and possibly hear some loud sounds. He’s definitely learned the surroundings of his foster parent’s house. He loves to play with his foster sister when he knows she’s around him. And he loves to play with his toys and show them who’s boss. Willie is picking up on potty training very well, but he is not a fan of being in his crate. Willie would do best with someone who is home often, where he doesn’t have to spend too much time alone. He loves to be around his humans. He is most content being wrapped and cuddled up with someone. Willie is such a happy and good boy! He will run around with his head up trying to find his people and then will shower you with kisses once he finds you! Willie is the sweetest and ready for his forever home! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application. It doesn’t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don’t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue! Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Colorado… with stops in – Colorado Springs CO and Denver CO. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs. As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call. The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
