Louie, a one-year-old Shih Tzu bundle of joy! This happy-go-lucky boy has an infectious personality and instantly falls in love with every person, animal, and ball that crosses his path. Louie is a true embodiment of a good boy, bringing immense joy to those around him. Currently attending doggie … daycare, he’s known as the class clown, spreading laughter wherever he goes. After expending his energy, Louie’s favorite pastime is snuggling with his foster mama in the evenings. Louie is a medium-energy dog, always ready for a game of ball or playtime with his furry friends. He’s an ideal companion for long walks and might even make a great running buddy! However, when it’s time to relax, Louie transforms into a 99% throw pillow, content to cuddle up and watch TV with his beloved humans. Toys hold a special place in Louie’s heart, and while he may carry your shoes around the house, he doesn’t chew on them. He’s a quick learner who already knows basic commands like sit and lay down. Louie is almost fully house-trained, with rare accidents on his puppy pad if left alone for extended periods. He walks well on a leash and thoroughly enjoys car rides, as demonstrated by his successful long road trip with his foster mom. We believe Louie would thrive in a home with kids who can engage in playful activities or another dog who welcomes a bubbly friend. While he’s curious about cats and would love to play, he shows no signs of aggression towards them. Louie’s ideal home is one that can manage his energy while he transitions out of puppyhood, with plenty of ball-throwing sessions and long walks to keep him happy.
