About Grand Champ
Are you looking for a huge, friendly and well-trained puppy, descended from grand champions? A pup from Muddy Mastiffs has it all. At maturity, one of these guys could weigh up to 240lbs and be up to 36 inches (3 feet!) at the withers. Within just a 5-generation pedigree, these pups are related to … 12 separate champions (a champion title requires 15 points with 2 major wins), plus a separate canine good citizen! (This requires passing a series of good behavior tests.) Their great grandmother is a grand champion. (This requires 25 grand champion points.) On the other side of the family, their great grandfather is a grand champion silver (this requires 200 grand championship points! With dogs of this large, it is important to have a gentle, sweet disposition, and our puppies deliver! We start them on an extensive training program from day 3, and you can even watch your individual puppy grow via daily Facetime or video. Once you’ve placed a deposit. Puppy perks Early Neurological Stimulation “Super Puppy Program” – administered by a retired combat veteran, video records of training, life, and ENS program, extensive training (read more about our training programs below), extensive socialization, daily (except sun.) Facetime and/or video of your pup is available upon request once a deposit is placed. Puppies are family raised in our home with a cat and a child. They are AKC registerable and come up to date on shots, wormed, vet checked, with collar or harness, leash, crate, bed or blanket that smells like Mom/littermates, food sample, treats, giant bone, toys, health guarantee (with the condition that your new puppy must continue to receive proper care) and training regimine. You may have noticed that a puppy from Muddy Mastiffs is pricier than some of the others on the market. In addition to our show lines and other perks, one of the main reasons we charge more is because we do more…way more! Training begins at day 3 and continues every single day until you bring your puppy home, where you will finish and reinforce the schooling we’ve started. We plan to put together a short series of training videos, so that you can easily finish up from the comfort of your own home rather than having to pay an expensive behaviorist or puppy school. My husband, Jason, is a combat veteran. He has researched and implemented our ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation or ”Super Puppy” Program). Essentially, we run the puppies through a series of brief neurological stimulus each day from day 3 to day 16. From what I understand, this method was developed by the military in order to create a better working dog. It is supposed to help your dog later in life to be calmer and less reactive to stressors. After the ENS program, we start regular training and socialization. We will start working with your puppy on basic commands, crate training, and leash training. We will begin potty training, but this is likely something you’ll have to focus on at home. One of the main things we can accomplish right from the start is proper socialization (safely of course). Puppies are family raised in our home with a cat and a child. They are handled daily. As they get older we venture outdoors, where neighbor kids and adults come right over to love on them as soon as they see them. We can also take pups on fun adventures to the neighborhood walking trail – where they pass other animals and people, the park, the other park, and the pet-friendly store. We’ll be using a wagon or other tech as necessary to avoid over-exercising our pups, while still getting them used to new surroundings and situations for socialization. A puppy from Muddy Mastiffs receives one-on-one training and attention nearly every day of its life! The pups’ mother, Muddy Mastiffs’ Nola has a pedigree loaded with champions! A 4-generation pedigree shows at least 9 titles/awards recognized by the AKC. Most notably, Nola’s grandfather was the grand champion silver! Nola is a beautiful dark, high-contrast brindle (brown, almost black overtones with blondest fawn undertones). Nola has a sweet temperament, as does her mate. Puppies are going to be friendly and loving. Gentle giant, Bane, the pups’ father, is almost 200 lbs. and is still growing! He will likely top out at around 240 lbs., just like his father. Bane has a wonderful, friendly and curious temperament! He loves to meet new people and other dogs. Bane has attended puppy training school and spent a good deal of time living with small children. He is a true sweetheart! Sometimes I see him literally smile when I walk up to him. He loves to go for walks around the neighborhood. He happily grabs his leash and wags his tail to ask me to take him out. His size and stature mean that I’m completely protected. But it’s becoming normal to see strangers sneaking a picture or video of the “small horse” on the sidewalk. He’s a conversation starter. That’s for sure. We love him to pieces, and he loves being loved. Bane is descended from both an international champion, imported from Russia (Mastif Hill Main Winner of Salem Moon) and a grand champion! His 4-generation pedigree includes multiple champions. Bane’s father, Bobo, was 240 lbs. and 36 inches at the withers. (That’s 3 feet!) Bo had all A’s on his genetic testing, PRA-D, CMR1 and DM. He had a lazy, laid-back temperament. Bane’s mother, Honey was 190 lbs., and her owner said she was the best behaved and most trained dog she had. Her genetic testing for PRA-D, CMR1 and DM was completed with excellent results. Bane’s puppies should be lovable and large. Bane’s pedigree includes all three colors. Both of his parents were brindle, and, while Bane’s coat is fawn, it does have a reddish tint. If you are interested in your own gentle giant, please message us. We’d love to chat and see if your family would be a good fit for our babies. In this litter there are 4 female fawns, 3 male brindles, and 5 female brindles. You can reserve a puppy with a $1,500 non-refundable deposit after you have been approved as a potential home. Pups started selling before we even listed them here, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you are interested. We had temporarily closed our waiting list due to such high demand, constant inquiries and no pups for nearly a year. But as of 6/16/2021 our fresh new waiting list is officially open, and it fills up fast! Last litter I had about 20 families and only one puppy. Text at 570-765-1878 if interested in getting a puppy or being added to the waiting list. We look forward to meeting you!
