Say hello to Dom! Dignified Dom is a 2-year-old Cane Corso looking for his forever home. He is used to living with other dogs, both younger and older than he is. Don enjoys spending time outside as much as he enjoys gentle pets, and he is a wiggle butt for cheese! This handsome lad was surrendered … at no fault of his own and is not used to living in a shelter environment. You can’t tell him he weighs over 100 pounds though because he would be startled by his own shadow. While he has been progressively coming out of his shell with our team, Dom is shy and would benefit from an adopter that is experienced with cane corsos or mastiff breeds. Dom is very nervous on a leash, and any children in his new home need to be over the age of 16. If you visit the shelter and don’t see the particular animal you are looking for, please ask at the front desk. No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am – 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance. If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered.
