Diamond

Diamond is a two-year-old brown and white American Bulldog/American Bully mix. She is a healthy, active girl weighing 60 pounds. Diamond was abandoned at a dog park in the freezing cold with horribly infected ears and scared. Over the past few months, Diamond has been treated for her ears, … allergies and spayed. She is up to date on all shots and heartworm negative. Diamond is a strong girl and needs someone that can be active with her. She is a love bug when she is relaxed and calm and gives the best kisses. She craves human attention, sometimes too much though and needs to be reminded of manners like no jumping or mouthing. She is smart and food and toy driven so could be trained if someone is willing to work with her consistently. She wants to please but there are times her high energy level needs to be tamed. She needs someone who’s very active and will work with her training as she pulls on her leash and jumps. Diamond plays well with her husky roommate who has high intensity like her. She does not like cats as they seem like a toy to her or like the squirrels she loves to chase. She likes kids but due to her tendency to jump and how strong she is, she would need controlled supervision or a home with older kids. She is our diamond in the rough, ready for someone to polish her up so she can truly shine! If you aren’t in the state of Texas, Diamond is still available to be adopted! We use several reliable transport companies that can get these precious babies anywhere! Unfortunately, Texas doesn’t have any spay/neuter laws in place so many rescues are overrun with amazing adoptable dogs and cannot find homes in the state. Shelters are euthanizing dogs at alarming rates right now so many rescues only hope is to ship out of state.
