CALVIN

About CALVIN

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue. Calvin (#A5565338) is an outgoing 7-month-old gold and black neutered male Beagle and Pug mix puppy who was adopted and returned, because the other pet in the home was afraid of him, to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on July 16. Weighing 34 lbs., Calvin is still growing and may get to be around 40 lbs. This kiddo has a lot of personality in a small package. He wants to meet everyone, people and dogs, and needs some manners because he can be overly pushy with other dogs. He’s a cute little fellow with adorable forehead wrinkles, floppy ears and a happy smile. He needs all the basic puppy training, and Calvin is starting to learn Sit so we think he will catch on quickly. Each day he will need exercise and playtime, and lots of positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior. Then once he’s burned off some of that puppy energy Calvin is happy to relax in the shade and soak up some attention and petting. For more information on this pet, contact volunteer UHA Adoption Coordinator Lor at [email protected].
