This handsome pup is a mix of Shepherd and Husky, and boy does he have personality! Brody was adopted from one of the shelters we work with as an adorable 2-month-old, but unfortunately, he was brought back to them as an unruly teenager just a few months later. Now at 8 months old and weighing in … at 45 pounds, Brody has all the traits of an untrained and unsocialized pup. He’s super intelligent, loves people and cuddles, is curious, stubborn, and has mild separation anxiety. He’s also very active and gets bored easily, which can lead to mischief if left to his own devices. Brody is eager to learn basic commands and good manners, but the shelter environment makes it difficult for him to focus. It’s heartbreaking to see his behavior and mental health decline, so we’re hoping to find him a new home with someone experienced with his breeds and behavior. Brody is still young and has so much potential, so we want to set him up for success before bad habits become harder to reverse. He will need a patient and dedicated owner to work with him and understand that he has so much potential with the proper guidance. He has not been tested around cats or children, so a home without them would be ideal. Requirements: -No apt/condo -Fenced yard – Breed experience preferred -No cats or children (older kids should be ok). Brody is vaccinated, dewormed, chipped, spayed/neutered, and hw neg.
