No fenced in yard required, and YES – we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. We are the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM), a progressive animal welfare organization located in Gulfport, MS. Each year HSSM houses approximately 7,000 homeless pets. Every day we are fighting a space capacity crisis as we try to care for the overwhelming amount of abandoned local pet. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
