Zelda

About Zelda

PLEASE READ: You MUSTou website to fill out an application and get pre-approved before meeting any Save-A-Mutt dogs. We are a foster based rescue. There is no facility to visit. Zelda is an amazing dog who is dreaming of being a cherished family member. She faces every day with a wag in her tail and a smile on her face….and that smile is amazing! She loves being with her people, relaxing on the couch and she loves her ball. She is patient and kind and is always ready for anything that comes her way. Zelda is ready for a predictable home with calm energy. Zelda is picky about her doggie friends but does seem to be fine with mellow males that are her size or larger. She will need a home without cats. A meet and greet will be required with any resident males of potential adopters. Zelda was born without an ear canal in her left ear and her right ear canal is shaped abnormally. Zelda will need a family committed to regular veterinary visits to maintain the health of her ears. Zelda has torn cruciate ligaments in both rear legs. Her ligaments have stabilized with scar tissue and she is being successfully treated with anti-inflammatories. Her mobility is good and she is an active girl. Zelda loves going for her daily walks and especially loves to stop by to say hello to her neighbors. This beautiful soul is at her very best every day and she teaches us to live in the moment. Zelda weighs 71 pounds and is 8 years old. Adoption fee is $150.00. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3. Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Due to the Border Closure to Canada – we are currently not accepting Canadian Adoption Applications. Sorry.
