Walter

Walter is a handsome Black Lab/Shepherd mix. Sweet and playful, he is learning what it’s like to get spoiled in foster care. Walter is learning to potty train and is making strides every day. He needs a home with a fence so he can explore and play in the backyard or someone who is going to take her … out for walks and adventures. Might be best in a home with older children due to his size as he grows, he may knock over littlies. He is currently located in Chicago’s southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Unless the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will only consider applications that are within 1 hour or 40 miles of Lemont, IL. This is due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. If the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will do adoptions out of state or outside of our rescue 1 hour or 40 mile restriction. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into the home within five days of approval.
