Topaz is a female Lab mix, approx 9-10 months old. She will grow up to be a medium-large size girl. Topaz is currently in Mexico at a rescue shelter and will be coming to BC on September 22nd. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and ready to find her forever home. The very best thing about … Topaz is her genuine love towards everyone and everything! She has such a happy spirit and zest for life. She’s the first one in line to greet you and come running for petting. She loves other dogs just as much as she loves humans. It would be awesome for Topaz to have a pup playmate in her forever home. Topaz is a pretty high energy pup, meaning she will do best with an active family who is just as enthusiastic about getting outside and enjoying some exercise. Topaz is game for anything – walks, hikes, forest trails, swimming, camping, or simply chasing balls at the park. She loves her dog toys and lights right up when you play with her. Affection also goes a long way with Miss Topaz Hugs, cuddles, and kisses are her jam! She’s pretty convinced that everyone loves her, whether it be humans or other animals, and she’s more than happy to reciprocate. Being a puppy, Topaz will thrive with ongoing training to hone her obedience skills and puppy manners, and opportunities for socialization to keep up her social butterfly skills. Since Topaz loves human attention & interaction, she would be happiest with a family who is home more often than not. She would also have a lot of fun at doggy daycare during times her family isn’t home.
