About Syd

“Helllooo Minnesota! My name is Syd and I’m looking for my furever home. Wow, do I love it here! Everyone is so nice to me – I get tons of belly scratches and treats. I’ve overheard my foster parents say I’m a sweet boy and one family will be so lucky to get me (I have to admit, hearing that gives me all the ‘feels’)! Mom said my sweet, goofy personality and adorable, good looks get me a lot of attention around the hood. I have big floppy ears and I’m still growing into my feet, which apparently makes me quite entertaining. I have two dog siblings who are a bit older and they are teaching me so much. We play and I’m good and reading the signs when they need a break. My dad is impressed that I’m doing so well with potty training. I haven’t even had an accident in the house; mom keeps me on a pretty strict schedule which helps. I walk well on a leash so I don’t need a fenced in yard, but a fence would be cool to help me burn some of my puppy energy. I’m still getting used to my kennel. I go in there on my own to relax sometimes and I’m getting used to being in it when my foster parents go into the office. I also sleep in my kennel at night (but to be totally honest, I would rather just snuggle up with my humans). One last thing, I’m still a puppy, so a lot of toys are a must! I can entertain myself for hours with these things, so the more the better. If you choose me to be part of your family, I promise to bring you a lot of snuggles, laughter, and unconditional love.” All our Warrior Dogs will have all age-appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner. Adoption fee is $625.
